Each Svetlana Lazar piece is hand crafted with supreme attention to quality and craftsmanship. Our gold smithing technique is meticulous and we're obsessed with creating the cleanest gemstone settings. This enhances the beauty and longevity of your jewelry, making for true lifetime heirlooms. Designs begin in our studio as drawings, wax carvings, and experiments in metal fabrication. Working with select gem suppliers in the US and around the
world, we carefully match the best gems to each design. Pieces are created in our studio, across the US, and globally in partnership with exceptional craftspeople -
casters, goldsmiths, and stone setters.
From inspiration to finished piece, our founding designer combines her high-end
bench jewelry experience with a unique vision and an eye for detail that result in stunning work of timeless quality.
Wishing Well FAQ
- Is there water inside? No. We create the illusion with an all gold setting invented in our studio.
- Is there a battery inside? No! The setting in completely mechanical and made for life.
- Can I wear the ring anywhere? Yes! Wishing Well rings are designed for daily wear. We carefully set, seal, and test each ring to stand the test of time. The only thing we would advise against is swimming or bathing with your ring.
- What if something happens to my ring? We stand by our rings for life. If anything happens to your Wishing Well setting, we will repair your ring free of charge. Contact us at hello@svetlanalazar.com for any questions.

Wishing Well Collection
Our Wishing Well collection was inspired by the vision of a woman sitting at the well, her gaze captivated by the effervescent bubbles of a magical creature living within. She casts her deepest wish, watching ripples dance across the water, and holds it with her until it comes true. We captured this feeling by inventing a unique setting technique that creates the illusion of water moving beneath the gem. As you wear these rings, look down and see a perpetual movement and shimmer, ready to delight you with a little bit of personal magic on your finger.
